Mike, have a look at the cloud formation at timestamp 6:59 of your eagle video from the BumbleBee.
There is the image of an eye looking down on the left hand side of the picture.
The missus reckons if you look close enough and have a bit of imagination, you can almost see a beak to the right of the eye.
What do you reckon?
Cheers,
Ron.Thank you Mr Admiral. It will be good to see you again π
Very good points indeed Kermit.Β We were discussing the basic rules which will help people to be more courteus towards other sailors for a more enjoyable sailing experience all around.
Not intending to introduce new rules.Β It definitely wouldn’t be enjoyable if it went the way of Risdon Brook as you mention.Β After all, we all just want to have fun.
I look forward to the next sailing day π
Thank you Mr Kermit.Β I need to remember to stop looking around so much while recording with the the hat cam π
Did you watch the YouTube video on the basic sailing rules?Β I think Patrick Rynne explains them very well and there was a couple of rules that I was not aware of!!!
Except that you were missed Pete.
Thanks Mike.
I also captured some hat cam video footage of some of the races. Being a “hat cam”, itβs a bit wobbly and there is no zoom and I have not done much editing. Definitely not up to Kermit’s standards but hopefully you will get something out of it.
I didn’t have too much luck with capturing video today however, here is a bit of footage of me flying the Chaser wing up at Mathinna over Easter performing an autotune with Ardupilot.
I’m using VSDC video editing software and still learning how to use it but I managed to insert FPV video into the HD video that was captured using a Runcam Split 3 Nano onboard camera.
Looks very nice Mike. Good job. I can’t wait to see it fly.
Yes, very nice camera angle Predator.
It looks like the cows were coming over for the BBQ in some of the footage. Either that or you have a group of very large spectators!
Nice runway Uncle G. It really stands out π
