Its horses for courses I guess. This guide was prepared by Phil Burgess and is not definitive by any means. As Phil is information central for all things DF, I guess his guide is his opinion on what is best in DF yachts. I personally use Life batteries and like them for their low cost, safety and light weight….. this is particularly important for these yachts competitiveness where every gram counts.

No chance the fountain will be running again this century unfortunately. Apparently all the pumping equipment needs to be renewed (for that to happen) and understandably that is a low priority for the business.

The new Icarex sails performed well. The breeze never got above 9 knots so it was pretty optimal.Ah yes, have enjoyed the process of making them again. One drawback of vibrant colours is you can’t get away with anything!
