Yes Ron, after many attempts & modifications I am now happy with the video quality & I even did it at 50fps so it wouldn’t stutter for Hoppy !!.
Another Fine video Gerald, thanks.
Yes, well deserved Kermit, another quality production from Toad Hall, and the donuts no doubt helped.
This weeks Golden Moose Award winner is
There is no stutter when I view the YT footage however I had the GoPro on the wrong setting so the file was not compatible with my editor necessitating a file conversion and that is what may cause the problem you see.
I’ll get it right eventually but in the meantime I just like flying the “Pod”
Flight one from the Tech Pod with a different sunshield on the camera dome
Flight two
Very quick of the mark with your video Gerald, and a fine production to boot.
Another fine video from Toad Hall Productions, thanks Kermit & thank you for the donuts. Definitely worth a vote.
Voting is now open for 48 hours only.
I still have two Tech Pod videos to post from today but as they will be late (not till tomorrow) they won’t be included in the voting. I set the GoPro to the wrong format (again) so need to convert the files before I can edit them, I did have a quick peak and they look good.
I know not of what you speak ?
12 June 2022 at 16:41 in reply to: Predators A Class – Wizzle Wozzle build (a very, very long process) #11303I got the knob sorted for removing the servo arm without tools
and I’ve ordered a double ended alloy rudder arm with allen key locking
I think that is about all that can be done till the parts on order turn up.

I will find something better before installing the deck but it will need to be double sided as I need a “push-pull” arrangement as the servo is now 320mm away from the rudder & I don’t want the control rods flexing. Also just realised that I need to fit a knurled knob to secure the servo arm so it can be removed without tools.
The arm needs to come off to remove the sail winch system.
It’s a work in progress & hopefully all bugs will be ironed out before the deck goes on.

Alan also used to sail with us @ Lauderdale and got us started sailing DF65’s @ Risdon Dam when they first came out.
As usual it sounds like a mighty fine day was had by all.
I really should extract the digit & get a new sailwinch for the 65 & get back to the Duck. Can’t spend all the time flying !!
I could have sworn that was Kermit (or at least one of his Flight School trainees) flying that!, especially the take offs directly towards the crowd & the parked vehicles.
