First up Mr Predator’s excellent 👌 report and filming showed what a great day it was. So much flying after lunch was hard to believe. Interesting to see the FPV screen.

Monsieur Kermit, Mrs Bev was not impressed by your candle in the wind effort for Mademoiselle Piggy, but you redeemed yourself by showing proper hugs and kisses on the second flight.

Sinker or the Frog – I looked hard for the offending possum but he was nowhere to be seen (Sinker 1) and then there was the very kind proof that frogs can fly (Sinker 2) so I think this time it has to be Mr Sinker who gets the 🏆🥇😉

For Mr Gerald and Mr Mike,

The boomerang now has flaperons that now flap.

The answer was to follow the google discovered instructions to a point, but instead of setting channel 1 to 0 for each position it needs to be o%, +50%, +100% and channel 6 has to be 0%, -50%, -100%

It will be interesting to see whether the flaps slow it down much for landings.

Amazing flying – extraordinary control.

A trip to the USA should be great and to be independent with an RV sounds like a great idea.

Two more years without your presence will be hard, but we’re just going to have to get used to it.😉

Looking good. With the weather the way it is you will have time to finish it for the next fly day.

I have been working on the Boomerang – made the ailerons work in the right direction – dismantled and soaked the carburettor in methanol overnight – adjusting the run and idle mixtures.

But the receiver started to turn on and off. It seems to be the switch, but now it’s out of the plane it’s working ok – more serious testing and maybe a replacement 🤔

Back to house maintenance now for a while 😁
