Chicken soup is so last millennium. Here in Asia we swear by Frog soup. Here is a typical recipe:  https://www.seriouseats.com/the-nasty-bits-frog-soup-1

Glad you are getting sailing weather and monsoon season has ended in Philippines so nice sailing weather here every day. Here is drone footage from a couple of days ago with 6 on my boat and an extra dinghy.

Glad you had no wind as here in Philippines there was a super typhoon (equivalent to a Cat 5 hurricane). Being a good skipper I left my wife home alone and went to my boat all night. Around midnight it was 40 to 50kts gusts on the boat with a lot of rain. So no drone footage today but here is brief clip from my phone. My boat had no damage but my phone got rain in it from taking this video which then puffed up the battery. Anyway phone now fixed with a new battery and glue.

Well it  was tough to decide between the videos and a historic draw is apt. Seeing as both winners are BFF, in line of sight, flying range of each other and with their own private airstrips maybe you can have the award for 2 days then fly it over and drop it on the other airstrip and repeat back every couple of days.

The yellow Cub was great but I could not see if it had wing struts? its not a cub without the struts. I like Kermits soft focus video but where are the Ooops shots? They are the only part I usually watch. But I did like the frog chorus sound track so my vote could be swayed.

No footage from me this week as had a week of rain due to a nearby super typhoon.  I want one of those Ospreys, looks great. We have so many full size ones flying around here. Be good to see footage with the camera facing towards the  tilt rotors to see them moving in flight.

Not a good advertisement for TGFS! I’ve voted and no vid from Philippines this week.

Looks a bit bleak. Here is some drone footage of local boats here in Philippines:

And who got the prize for being first in a tree?

in reply to: The new VTOL plane #12034

Nice, we were having a lot of them flying around Subic Bay but the Special Forces versions have now been grounded due transmission problems. They are noisy buggers so nice to have some quiet. Even the other versions still flying have 3 times the accident rate of normal planes and copters.

You need music for drone videos or even better some meaningful commentary! Looks flyable but let’s have a vote on who we think will end up in a tree first.

From Dec to May weather is perfect 98% of the time but now from June to Nov its rainy season with occasional typhoons but once a typhoon passes its nice for a while. Peak typhoon season is in October but Subic Bay hardly ever gets a direct hit, just the rain deluges. So I would guess June to Nov its 30% perfect and rainy the rest of the time.

Kermit I look forward to flying videos. Dont forget you flying property at Dunalley. Also Craigeborne Dam would be good for seaplane flying. And end of Opossum Bay is flyable. Also beaches at low tide make good runways and hills are good for chucking off gliders so no excuses for not flying.

Since no one else is flying here is footage from today. I loaned my DJI Mavic Mini to a professional pilot and he lost it so gave me money and I bought a Hubsan Zino Mini SE. Its better than the DJI and cheaper. Not as good as a DJI Mini 3 but they are 4 times the price. My boat was beached at high tide this morning as has a leaky shaft seal to replace at low tide later today. Its a fishing beach so hope to get BBQ seafood there tomorrow.

He was also spotted in a popular ladyboy bar here in Philippines but I was not there to take a pic.

And even if i was there I would not have taken a pic.
