Being as its a New Year and all I thought it about time I got back into some more regular sailing activities.
After all there is no point having 9 yachts just sitting round gathering dust !!
Here is some video from onboard “Obsession” the Australia II design Nautic 12 RC yacht
No Andy, pretty easy fix, just replace the prop & glue the dummy motor back together.
Another fine production Mr Kermit, and in 4K no less. A bit of extra effort to finish off the year on a high eh?
Hat Cam wasn’t too bad either but could have benefited with a bit more editing, once the plane gets away a bit it virtually disappears.
Very nice Scott. Purrs along very realistically.
Another fine video Mr Frog, I sent you an email with an easy fix for the start.
Kermit, my little frog, all good directors/producers cop a lot of flack from their underlings, you just need a thick skin, which
toadsfrogs are notorious for.At least you are trying !! (in fact very trying at times)
Well done yet again Mr Frog, pity that you missed the best prang of the day though.!!
Well there used to be but it seems to have gone by the wayside.
I’ll fix it now
Don’t you go using those swear words around me Andy.
Must say I was a little disappointed yesterday. Friday I charged the batteries for the yachts in anticipation of sailing Saturday but when I looked NO CALENDAR.
Checked again Saturday morning and still NO CALENDAR so I assumed everyone had gone Woody sailing @ Forcett.
Ended up staying home & gardening all day instead only to find out today there was indeed sailing @ the canal.
Very disappointed !!
You sure did Andrew, best thermals we have had so far this year.
@ 1300ft even the big Blanik was getting hard to see (even though it was directly above) so I piked out and came back down.
Very interesting, looks good
Yes Ron very happy with both the Blanik & the new AP.
Especially happy with how well the Blanik thermals, will be able to give Andrew a run for his money now (maybe)
Yes Ron, thought that may interest you !!
Well then, all up you are probably looking at $150.00
F405- Wing FC = $70.00 inc postage
BN-220 GPS = $22.00 inc postage
then you need an XT60 plug & socket
Red & Black silicone wiring (for battery & ESC)
Heatshrink
Compatible Receiver with SBUS & S-Port connections (I use FrSky X8R)
and of course a computer capable of programming the FC. The first one is always a challenge but then they get much easier.
To get the most out of the telemetry you also need a decent RC Radio that can handle LUA scripts, I use a Jumper T16 (which has a large full colour display) but any of the new RadioMaster radios should also be fine & even the older Taranis X9D will do the job but you only get a monochrome telemetry display which is harder to read.
If using FPV both the camera and VTX plug straight into the F405-Wing to provide programmable OSD to you goggles or screen.
