That video cant be from BA as it has music in it, at least in the intro. Yet Predators drone footage is silent. Drone movies always need music. Silent movies disappeared in the Twenties.

Nice camera angle, can you do a pic of the mounting and was it 3D printed?

It was a nice day and best thermal day for gliding I have experienced at Sandford. No cameras on my ASW28 but would have been boring as was circling most of the time. Instead here is a brief clip from my clipped wing Cloud AXN using an old Foxeer Legend One camera. nb Saturday looks like another good flying morning if Kermit is keen to arrange…

and I refocused the camera on my Eagles so I think its a bit better. Still set to 2.7k/60FPS.

At 2:10 in the Lil Eagles vid I think I see a UFO.

It was nice seeing Discus Launched and Winch Launched gliders as something different. Looking forward to the 9am start next time!

I counted 9 pilots so must be 8 plus Kermit? Here is my Esky Eagles with a keychain cam as my Mobius is overheating. Need to find a heatsink for it.

I like the flight deck view and now you need to add some flight deck sound effects like whoop whoop pull up. And weren’t you going to bomb the next paddock?

So what are you doing hanging around the canal with a video camera?

But yes, a big transgression going boating without posting in the calendar.

Was a nice day till the seabreeze kicked in and we packed up around 1 30pm. Tomorrow morning looks ok for a fly, rest of the week not got till the weekend.

Nah the frog just deleted the out of focus clips and then there was nothing left.

I have now removed the battery from my mini mobius camera for next FPV range testing. Also I just ordered the same Hawkeye goggles as BA and Ron, at $129 from Banggood australia as my fatshark goggles are so old and dont have diversity so doesnt help with range issues. Here is a brief clip of the Eagles including taxying in the long grass. I had 6 planes today. The Drift I ran out of time to fly it. The V Tail glider needed some soldering, not done so was u/s (unserviceable for non pilots). The A10 had a brief flight as shedded a fan blade becoming u/s, I think a different blade from last time. The ASW28 flew Ok but no thermals in the Easterly wind. The VTOL plane flew nice first up but I only had the one battery for it and the charger needed soldering too, now done, so was u/s. All service items now fixed.

I found something to do when too windy to fly RC. Find someone who has spent 15 years building and a lot of money on a 767 simulator and fly that. I was in the jump seat for a take off circuit and landing at New York La Gardia today. Then I flew a different twin GA sim myself from queenstown to mt cook in NZ. Good landing at My Cook airstrip but I just took a few stills as busy.

Well done, is it painted black now? No wind forecast on Saturday but some showers in afternoon so could do a test fly in the morning.
