Seems I missed another great day at the Duck.  Great report and photos.

I am used to seeing some coloured sails on the Duck pond. Mind you the timber IOM does add a bit of interest!!

    No IOM with coloured sails?

I am just hoping that Bob Dylan was correct when he wrote “the slow one now will later be fast”

    Very nice paint job Kermit

Great photos Kermit.  It certainly was cool standing on the pontoon.

Ripper day at the Duck, but by golly it was cool early on.  Very close racing with many interesting buoy roundings. As usual Duck Luck played a key role is some of the races.  Thanks to all involved.

It was quite cool and the wind was very light for most of the session but kicked in a little as noon rolled around.

Another great day at the Duck. Plenty of skippers had technical issues, but we all had fun and the racing was super close. Weed really wasn’t an issue, so some of us didn’t have an excuse.

A top day of really close racing. For mid winter sailing it won’t get too much better than this. Thank you team, and a huge thank you to the Duck.

    Kermit

If you manage to get Uncle G to agree to this deal then we will all be trying to get run over by his power boat.  Seems to be the only way we will beat him at the Duck!!

I certainly had more than my share of “Duck luck”.

What an unkind set of photos!!  Only about a month earlier I had a similar incident with the fountain.  Gotta get a skipper with better eyesight and a more alert crew.  A big thank you to Kermit for assisting with the recovery.

It was yet another ripper day for sailing the ‘Duck and the wind was more consistent than most weeks. Autumn has been very kind to us.

It was a ripper day of sailing at the ‘Duck. We had the closest racing, with many of the boats now up to speed thanks to the sharing of information from the experienced skippers.  At times I got too close to some of the other competitors and caused some problems – or havoc if you like.  I think I was just enjoying the close racing a bit too much.  I will try to keep out of trouble in the future. Aologies to those folk that were entangled with the pink one.

I did notice that at our champs the good skippers didn’t get in strife with other competitors or the buoys – they left that up to me, and I didn’t let them down.
